All So Kids SOAR clinics are 100% free for participants and their families. Our events are intended for children with physical and developmental disabilities between the ages of 4 and 24.

VOLUNTEER

So Kids SOAR could not operate without the hands-on support of our volunteers. As a volunteer, you will engage as a mentor with one of our SKS youth, while also making a direct impact on their life. We need volunteers for all of our programs: Clinics, Holiday Celebration, and Your Path To Success. We welcome companies and large groups to volunteer together as well!

Want to get your company involved outside of volunteering? We are always looking for financial and in-kind sponsors to give back to their community. As a sponsor, you will receive special benefits including branding, reserved volunteer slots, and more.

We believe that working collaboratively is more impactful than separately. We have partnered with many great local nonprofits and for profits in the past that have helped us elevate our programs to the next level. Supporting So Kids SOAR allows your organization to become a valued member of the community. Moreover, our events provide the exposure to publicize the commitment you’ve made to help empower children in the DC area. Your organization will be featured in our bi-monthly newsletter and our social media outreach.

Sponsorships and Partnerships with SKS also provide exposure for your organization at our events. Our programs cater to 70 to 100 families with children with disabilities, as well as a matching number of volunteers. The programs have been partnered with every professional DC area sports team and each child and volunteer receives a shirt from our clinics that includes the sponsor’s logo.
